// U2 and Corrs duet for new film
U2's Bono and The Edge have performed a "haunting, romantic" duet with fellow Irish singer Andrea Corr for the soundtrack to a new movie by German director Wim Wenders.
The Corrs' lead singer said she was delighted to have performed the collaboration for the new film 'Don't Come Knocking'.
She said: "The Edge rang me and left a message to say that he and Bono had written a song for the Wim Wenders film but had realised they had written a duet and needed me to sing it. It's a beautiful song. It's really romantic, quite heartbreaking. "
The song was recorded at the Wisseloord Studios in The Netherlands, inbetween the three 'Vertigo' tour concerts U2 gave in Amsterdam (July 2005).

Mr McClellan said they also talked about the concerts U2 were due to perform in Washington. "They had a very good discussion about some of our common priorities," Mr McClellan added.
Bono received the lunch invitation to follow talks he had with Mr Bush at the G8 summit in Scotland in July.
// The Boss joins U2 on stage
Bruce Springsteen joined U2 onstage during the Irish supergroup's concert in Philadelphia on Monday night.
Bono asked the 20,000 strong crowd gathered at the Wachovia Center "Who is this man? Who is this man?" before Springsteen walked on.
The band and Bruce launched into a rendition of 'People Get Ready' with Springsteen's wife Patti Scialfa also joining them onstage.
U2 said through their official website, "It's a piece of rock n' roll history... That was a night to remember."

// U2 on Conan O'Brien TV Show
For the first time in the program's history, the entire hour of NBC's "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" tomorrow (October 6) will be devoted to just one guest: U2.
The appearance coincides with U2's seven-night run at Madison Square Garden. The band is expected to perform multiple songs and chat with host O'Brien during the show.
In the past, "Late Night" has had The White Stripes play on consecutive nights, and did a month of Tuesdays with the Strokes, but it has never focused an entire show on one band.
