// Vertigo Tour: Remaining concerts postponed

U2.com brings sad news today: The remaining dates on the 'Vertigo' tour have been postponed due to a family illness.

Arthur Fogel (President of tour promoter The Next Adventure) said:

Any fan of U2 will realise that this decision has not been taken lightly. We will announce further details as soon as we have them.

This means that all shows in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Hawaii are postponed. In 2005 the start of the 'Vertigo' tour was also postponed, also because of a family illness.

Update:
Bono has told Australian TV that U2 will be back in the country in November to reschedule postponed shows. There’s no specific dates yet but the band are hoping to make an announcement very soon. (U2.com)
