// U2 ZooTV DVD coming this fall
Achtung ya'll! Zoo TV DVD coming this fall!
Last month Universal Music France already announced that a Zoo TV DVD would be in stores this October, but in the past these kinds of announcements have been proven to be anything but reliable.
But today webstore Amazon.com is listing two DVD's on it's website, a one disc and a two disc (propably a "Deluxe" or "Limited" Edition) version, both to be released on September 18, 2006.
The contents of these DVD's are unknown at this time, but it seems likely that it's the Sydney concert that will be released on DVD. (This concert was previously released on VHS back in 1994)
There is no word yet on a Vertigo Milan DVD, but i'm expecting it to be in stores before Christmas 2006.
// "Are you gonna wait forever?"
That's what some fans have been asking U2, since they are still anxiously awaiting the new dates for the final 'Vertigo' tour concerts.
It has been several months since Bono hinted that an official announcement was only days away, but to this day the new dates have not been announced.
But yesterday U2 said they hope to resolve the situation soon. Here is the full statement from the official U2 website:
We at U2.com would like to thank you for your patience around the recent postponement of the Vertigo Tour dates. As we're sure you can appreciate, changes of this nature generate a great deal of work behind the scenes. We hope to have the situation resolved soon. We apologise for the delay and thank you again for your continued patience.

// U2 plan summer in the studio
Bono has said that U2 will work on new material this summer and that he has some songs ready thanks to taking piano lessons.
"I've got a lot of songs, oddly enough, from taking piano lessons," he told The Guardian. "My kid's piano teacher, Dawn, has been teaching me the piano. And every time she gives me a lesson, I write a new song."
Bono said he will play his new songs to the rest of the band next week, "I'd like to thin out my schedule in terms of the politics and activism and just get lost in the music again," he added. "That's what I'm really looking forward to for the summer."
