// U2 rehearse in Los Angeles

Two days before the start of their new world tour U2 played a dress rehearsal in Los Angeles last night.

The band played the following songs:
  1. City of Blinding Lights
  2. The Electric Co.
  3. An Cat Dubh / Into the Heart
  4. Beautiful Day
  5. Miracle Drug
  6. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
  7. Love and Peace or Else
  8. Elevation
  9. Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of
  10. Yahweh
  11. Bullet the Blue Sky
  12. Running to Stand Still
  13. Zoo Station
  14. The Fly
  15. Vertigo
  16. Pride
  17. Where the Streets Have No Name
  18. One
  19. All Because of You
  20. 40
@U2 reported the following about the stage:
  • Very simple stage, clean - just Larry's drums, Edge's stuff, keyboards, and lots of room for Bono to move around
  • 3-level video screen
  • Main stage is shaped like the "Vertigo" spirals
  • The "egg" extends further out onto the floor than the Elevation "heart" did
  • There's no b-stage at the far end of the egg, but there is enough room for the band to play, just like on the Elevation Tour
Contest winners, along with lucky fans who were waiting outside the Sports Arena, were allowed into the Arena and watch the show because the band wanted to rehearse before a live audience. A detailed report about the rehearsal can be found at U2log.com.
