During Beautiful Day dozens of doves were released which circled over the hypnotised crowd. Before 'One' Bono set the tone for the rest of the day by making a moving speech to the 200,000 crowd in London's Hyde Park.

"Eight of the most powerful men on earth are meeting on a golf course in Scotland. There's a lot a stake. We have a message for them: This is your moment, too. Make history, by making poverty history."
